THE OVERCAST THEATRE was founded in September of 2012. a theatre company in its infancy. It hopes to be a space for actors, designers, directors, technicians, stage managers, dancers, choreographers, playwrights, and performers from those just starting out to mid-career professionals to come practice their crafts and grow.

 

We don’t want specialize in a certain type of theatre but instead cover as much of the range and spectrum as possible. We want to strive for interdisciplinary and diverse looks into performance and art. While we are excited to mount less known works and execute new and experimental pieces we simultaneously invite fresh takes on classics and more popular theatre.

 

Most importantly our goal is to make theatre accessible or at least an instance where an individual was exposed to something different whether they are theatrical experts or seeing their very first show.
